Ranbir Kapoor’s Fitness Routine: Tips And Suggestions!

Ranbir Kapoor has experienced a lot of happiness in 2022.

Ranbir is certainly kept on his toes by everything from his wedding to Alia and the subsequent pregnancy news to his gradually re-entering the public eye with his upcoming movies Shamshera and Brahmastra. Fortunately, he’s in fantastic form to handle all these demands.

With the release of Shamshera barely around the corner, YRF has unveiled brand-new images of Ranbir Kapoor from the movie. And boy, did we not anticipate the revelation. Ranbir’s appearance in the adventure thriller has seriously left people’s jaws on the floor. He seems like a tough brawler.

The naughty lover boy from Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is a thing of the past; this Ranbir Kapoor isn’t afraid to be sucked into the action. He even has a nice ratio in terms of appearance, with broad shoulders that contrast with a more streamlined trunk.

This kind of physicality should come to mind when you picture a real superhero. It is athletic, strong, and mobile, with its beauty serving more as the icing on the cake than anything else.

Without further ado, let’s learn how he was able to develop into this tough hunk.

Ranbir’s dedication and self-control were praised by Shamshera director Karan Malhotra. He describes how he wanted the protagonist of the movie to seem and feel powerful on screen.

“Ranbir has put a lot of effort into living up to the parts of Balli and Shamshera. I wanted the viewers to sense his inner strength and resolve each time they saw him on screen, which is why I had him develop a certain physique for the movie. To give Ranbir’s role in the movie greater strength, I guided him toward developing a body while keeping that fundamental idea in mind “Malhotra explains.

“The goal was never for his physicality to be a distraction but an advantage to his characters,” the director continued. And I can state with absolute certainty that Ranbir put a lot of effort into giving each character a distinct mental and physical presence. As a result, he looks magnificent in every frame of Shamshera and completely owns it.”

Ranbir was expected to appear and act the part of a quick-footed raider, with a particular emphasis on athleticism overweight. Kunal Gir, his trainer, claimed “Since RK’s character was based on Robin Hood, the goal was to make him appear athletic but not overly fat. We have to maintain the character’s rough, unpolished appeal.

Consequently, he seems robust and athletic. Every day, Ranbir ate five meals. He exercised hard five days a week and followed a low-carb, high-protein diet! He only indulged in a cheat meal once a week.”

In some instances, the lack of appropriate workout options on set was a result of the heat, dust, and demanding and prolonged shootings.

According to Kunal, this meant that Ranbir had to build a powerful engine, which he did “We worked out five days a week for an hour each time, followed by a rapid truck session of intense cardio for five minutes. RK was instructed to grasp the machine’s handles while operating the belt with his legs after the treadmill had been turned off.

RK had to contend with intense heat and dust because the shooting took place primarily outside. We, therefore, practiced certain breathing techniques that enabled him to maintain composure during trying shooting circumstances.
