Kareena Kapoor Khan opens up about her yoga journey

After four months postpartum says “I’m slowly and steadily getting back”

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan got social media buzzing with a stunning throwback bikini photo, practising an asana on the beach. That’s not all, the star who swears by the benefits of yoga, also opened up about her journey with the ancient art form.
“For me, my yoga journey began in 2006 when I signed Tashan and Jab We Met… an incredible one… which kept me fit and strong,” she wrote in a post that saw her focussing on her asana.

Giving fans a peek at her toned midriff just months after giving birth to her second son, she admitted, “Now after two babies and four months postpartum… this time I was just exhausted and in too much pain to get back but today I’m slowly and steadily getting back at it.”

“My yoga time is my me time… and of course, consistency is key… so, keep at it people. On that note, I’m going to #StretchLikeACat and hope you do too,” she signed off while also encouraging fans to take up yoga in their daily routine.

Kareena has been enjoying some mommy time with her two boys. The actress was recently spotted enjoying some downtime together with hubby Saif Ali Khan and son, Taimur Ali Khan. When not spending her time waiting out the pandemic at home, the actress has been seen living it up with her gal-pals Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora.

While fans are waiting for Bebo to announce her next big project, the star is awaiting the release of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ that will see her reuniting with Aamir Khan.

Kareena is also a part of ‘Takht’ that will see her share the screen with stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal and others. However, the project was reportedly put on hold amidst the pandemic.
